About us

We are an adult choir based in North San Diego County.
Membership is open to any singer over the age of 18! (Contact Music Director or President for more information)
Our mission is to enrich, educate and entertain the community by providing opportunities to individuals who enjoy singing in an adult group setting.
We are a 501 (c)(3) organization whose purpose is to give back to music education in our fantastic communities.

Meet the Board

Debbie Kurth

We are so excited to have Debbie leading the Melody Makers for our inaugural season! She comes to us with years of board experience and was previously a member of the RB Chorale and SD Harmonics Chorale. Debbie is a Soprano.

Vice President

Cindy Conn

Cindy is a fantastic addition to our board. She also comes to us with years of board experience serving with the RB Chorale and SD Harmonics Chorale to name a few. Cindy is a Soprano.

Secretary

Jen Volkman

Jen is a previous member of the SD Harmonics with fantastic organizational skills! We are so fortunate to have her as secretary for the inauguration of the Melody Makers! Jen is an Alto.

Treasurer

Paul Findley

We are so lucky to have Paul as our Treasurer! He comes to us with years of experience and energy to keep our finances in line. Paul is a former member of the RB Chorale and SD Harmonics. Paul is a Tenor.

Music Director

Shannon McInnis

Shannon is a former member of the RB Chorale and SD Harmonics. She is currently the director of vocal music and co-director of instrumental music at San Elijo Middle School in San Marcos. She is a soprano, but also plays multiple instruments. She is very excited for this opportunity to work with such fine musicians in the new North County Melody Makers!

Social Committee Chair

Jackie Palmer

Jackie has been instrumental is getting the Melody Makers formed. As a former member of the RB Chorale and SD Harmonics, Jackie spearheaded the formation of our new group and has worked tirelessly behind the scenes. She will chair the hospitality/social committee once the group gets going. Jackie is a mezzo soprano.
